Applications

Fastening systems, chemical and mechanical anchors, and Fischer anchors for all types of substrates (cracked and non-cracked concrete, solid or hollow masonry, plasterboard, insulating materials) are fundamental devices in construction and plant engineering. The design is based on Eurocode 2 Part 4 (EN 1992-4) and European Technical Assessments (ETA) issued according to the EAD (European Assessment Document, formerly ETAG 001 for metal anchors, ETAG 029 for multiple applications). Typical materials include galvanized steel, A2 stainless steel (AISI 304), and A4 stainless steel (AISI 316) for corrosive environments, sized according to concrete class (C20/25, C25/30) and thread diameter (M6, M8, M10, M12, M16, M20). For fire applications, fire resistances R30, R60, R90, R120 are evaluated. Installations require screws, anchors, and fastenings on masonry, concrete, and plaster, using tools (drill bit, blade) for hole preparation on site and in the workshop.
