Applications

Fischer fastening systems, chemical and mechanical anchors, and plugs for all types of substrates (cracked and uncracked concrete, solid or perforated masonry, drywall, insulating materials) are fundamental devices in construction and plant engineering. The design is based on Eurocode 2 Part 4 (EN 1992-4) and European Technical Assessments (ETAs) issued according to the EAD (European Assessment Document, formerly ETAG 001 for metal anchors, ETAG 029 for multiple applications). Typical materials include galvanized steel, A2 (AISI 304) and A4 (AISI 316) stainless steel for corrosive environments, with sizing according to concrete class (C20/25, C25/30) and thread diameter (M6, M8, M10, M12, M16, M20). For fire applications, fire resistances of R30, R60, R90, R120 are evaluated. Installations require screws, plugs, and anchors on masonry, concrete, and plaster, using tools (drill bit, blade) for hole preparation on site and in the workshop.
